Hole By Hole
Hole 1- 366 yards Par 4
This hole provides a gentle opening to the course with a narrow fairway and large greenside bunker to catch any stray shots. Be cautious off the tee to allow a short iron approach to a green that slopes from back to front.
Hole 2- 331 yards Par 4
The second hole is a classic risk and reward short Par 4 hole with 2 lakes to avoid, firstly off the tee and secondly to the left of the green. Aiming up the left side of the fairway allows for a more straight forward angle approach to a small green that slopes towards the penalty area.
Hole 3- 143 yards Par 3
This is the shortest hole on the course, but demands accuracy as the green is well guarded by bunkers and has some slopes to catch out missed directed putts.
Hole 4- 435 yards Par 4
Stroke index number 1 hole with out of bounds running down the left side of the hole and a large lake in front of the green. The hard part is getting to the green – once onboard the green is relatively flat.
Hole 5- 311 yards Par 4
This hole provides another opportunity to take advantage of length off the tee and get close to the green. Danger lurks on both sides of this narrow fairway with the green protected by a large yet shallow bunker.
Hole 6- 359 yards Par 4
Slight dog leg right to left hole with a generous fairway for JA! The green has a lake behind the hole so be cautious with your approach. Stay clear of flags on the left side of the green as it is shallow and the green slopes slightly towards the water.
Hole 7- 374 yards Par 4
A straight away par 4 with the difficulty off the tee driving over a lake but to the widest fairway on the course. Play your second shot uphill towards the green. Make sure you leave yourself a full shot to control your distance to the green. A deep bunker awaits on the left side of the green for any mishit approaches.
Hole 8- 177 yards Par 3
The JA signature hole with raised tee overlooking the entire Resort. The green is surrounded by water on the left, front and back as well as a bunker on the right. There’s no bailing out on this hole where the wind makes a huge difference from the high tee.
Hole 9- 526 yards Par 5
This is the sole par 5 hole on the course with a narrow fairway moving slightly left to right. The green is wider at the back so try to over club your approach. Bunkers guard the front left and right of the green so an accurate approach is required.
